Excellence in Engineering Awards

Excellence in Engineering Awards

Each year, ASHRAE gives you the chance to brag about your engineering achievements. Here are three ASHRAE technology award programs that are available to showcase your design achievements. Other engineers have used these programs to show the world that they design quality jobs that benefit their clients and advertise the quality work of their firm. We encourage you to participate in any or all of the following awards:

1. ILLINOIS CHAPTER ASHRAE TECHNOLOGY AWARDS

Each year, the Illinois Chapter awards recognize outstanding engineering work by Chapter members. Winners of these awards are encouraged to submit their projects to Region VI competition; if successful, they may next submit their project to the Society’s international competition. The applicant may use the short form (may be downloaded here) for the Chapter and Regional programs, but must use the full Society Technology Award form for the Society program. A copy of either application form may also be obtained from the Society website.  [Download form(s) under “Resources” heading at bottom of screen.]

Please note the following submission schedule for the 2017 awards:

  • The deadline for submittals is September 22, 2017
  • Judging will be completed by about October 31, 2017
  • Awards will be presented at the chapter's Holiday Party on December 5, 2017
