Webinar to Address End-of-Life Concerns of Rooftop Units

Dealing with rooftop air-conditioning units (RTUs) at their end of life can be a financial and environmental liability. To help RTU users avoid problems, the Advanced RTU Campaign (ARC) is hosting a free webinar about new RTU regulations and how to minimize the environmental impact and gain value from old RTUs. "Old RTUs—Turning a Liability into an Asset" will be held Sept. 12 from 10 to 11 a.m. (CDT). Presenters will be Michael Deru, member ASHRAE, of the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, and Jason Benton and Josh Marler of AES Industries. The ARC is a national effort to promote accelerated adoption of high-efficiency RTUs and advanced RTU controllers in the commercial buildings market. ASHRAE is an organizer and sponsor of the U.S. Department of Energy-led campaign. Register here.
