Meeting/Event Information

Illinois Chapter usually meets once each month, August through June, on Tuesdays. The Chapter’s annual golf outing and fund raiser always takes place in September. Generally 70 to 80 members gather at monthly meetings, which makes them an excellent networking opportunity for members interested in meeting and developing other contacts in the industry.

The State of Illinois requires professional engineers to complete 30 PDHs (Professional Development Hours) of training for license renewal. The Illinois Chapter ASHRAE offers educational programs with more than enough PDHs to help engineers satisfy this requirement.

Presentations from previous Chapter seminars and meetings may be downloaded after logging into the "Member Area." The Illinois Chapter of ASHRAE stores past presentations. Join Young Engineers in ASHRAE (YEA) for a great Happy Hour on Thursday, Oct. 25, 5:30-9:00 p.m., at Revolution Brewery & Taproom, 3340 N. Kedzie Ave., Chicago. You’ll get a chance to network with great people from the industry while enjoying pizza and beer. Three 10-top tables are reserved. A private tour of the 90,000 sq. ft. brewery with samples and a souvenir logo glass is planned for 6:30 p.m. There is no charge for the event, tour or food. However, additional refreshments may be purchased at the cash bar. We hope to see you there!
