Meeting/Event Information

Illinois Chapter usually meets once each month, August through June, on Tuesdays. The Chapter’s annual golf outing and fund raiser always takes place in September. Generally 70 to 80 members gather at monthly meetings, which makes them an excellent networking opportunity for members interested in meeting and developing other contacts in the industry.

The State of Illinois requires professional engineers to complete 30 PDHs (Professional Development Hours) of training for license renewal. The Illinois Chapter ASHRAE offers educational programs with more than enough PDHs to help engineers satisfy this requirement.

Presentations from previous Chapter seminars and meetings may be downloaded after logging into the "Member Area." The Illinois Chapter of ASHRAE stores past presentations. You must be a member to access them from this website. If you are not yet a member, sign-up today or contact us for more information.

YEA Members:

If the broken pencil above looks like it might have been your's, congratulations — but you are only halfway there. Now it's time to celebrate.

The YEA (Young Engineers in ASHRAE) invite you to a special Post-PE Blowout Happy Hour on Thursday, April 18, 5:30 - 7:30 p.m., at the Rockit Bar and Grill on Hubbard Street in Chicago's River North neighborhood. We have reserved a table area for 20 - 30 people,  and we want to see you in one of those seats!

Registration is free to YEA members (as in No $$ down. Sound like a used-car deal?) Because the reservation requires us to be on one tab, please bring cash.

Make your reservation today and join us after work on April 18th (21 and over only, please).

Thursday, April 18, 5:30 - 7:30 p.m.
Rockit Bar & Grill

The Young Engineers in ASHRAE (YEA) Committee enhances member benefits for young professional ASHRAE members, 35 years old and younger, by identifying activities and services focused on their needs. To find out how you can become a YEA member, contact Mike Capalbo ([email protected]) or Saagar Patel ([email protected]).
