2027 ASHRAE Winter Conference in Chicago!

We are actively seeking YOUR HELP to support the multitude Chapter events and activities occurring for the 2027 ASHRAE Winter Meeting from January 23-27, 2027 in Chicago! 

The ASHRAE Winter Conference is an annual conference that rotates cities and is held in Chicago every 3 years. Mechanical contractors, manufacturer’s representatives, controls contractors, and various engineers locally and abroad attend to learn from technical presentations and updates in research, participate on technical committees to advance our industry, network and socialize with peers and colleagues, and enjoy several scheduled events curated by the host committee.

The Welcome Party is the first major event of the conference and will be held at the Carnivale (702 W Fulton St) on January 23rd. Here, attendees sign up to get a taste of Chicago’s charm and kickoff the conference. Approximately 700 ASHRAE members will attend to mix and mingle with their peers in an inviting setting with food and drinks. Space is limited and the event always sells out!

Following the Welcome Party, the Illinois Chapter will be hosting an After Party to keep the excitement going! The entire bar is typically reserved exclusively for ASHRAE Members. This event typically sees about 65-120 attendees. This year's After Party will be held at Punch Bowl Social in Fulton Market.

The Illinois Chapter of ASHRAE will once again be hosting a Hospitality Suite for Illinois Chapter members during the ASHRAE Winter Meeting at the Marriot Marquee.  The suite will provide local members a place to relax between sessions, and it will be open from Saturday through Wednesday morning. Over 500 local Illinois ASHRAE members will traffic through this space during the conference and will be an excellent opportunity for you and your company to advertise!

Tuesday Night is Member’s Night Out and the last major event of the conference. Approximately 500 Members and their guests register to enjoy live music and entertainment. Connect with your colleagues for one last night before the end of the conference.

Illinois ASHRAE is keeping on with the tradition of having an After Party after the Welcome Party. This year's After Party will take place at Punch Bowl Social. Come enjoy food, drinks, and some fun games to keep our conference kickoff night going! Even if you are unable to attend the conference, come join in on the fun. This event will be open to all. Signups will be available soon.
