Illinois ASHRAE Hosts Annual Golf Outing
What: The popular late summer Illlinois ASHRAE Golf Outing returns on Thursday, September 3rd. This year's outing will be back at White Pines Golf Club in Bensenville, IL. Relax and enjoy the same great outdoor event as you drive, swing and putt your way along one of the 18-hole courses on 260 acres reserved for ASHRAE golfers.
Golfers and non-golfers are welcome! On the links and at the dinner banquet afterwards there will be plenty of opportunities for a everyone to get involved with everything taking place on and off the course. When it's time, relax at the dinner banquet and enjoy lots of refreshments, great food the chance to take home one or several great raffle prizes. By the end of the day, we believe everyone will feel like a winner!

Community Service
ASHRAE will be volunteering 8/29 for Rebuilding Together. We are looking for volunteers for a 4 hour shift doing light labor (ie. yard work). Contact [email protected] for additional information.

The ASHRAE Winter Conference is returning to Chicago, and we couldn't be more excited!

Inside Illinois Chapter
Celebrate Your Achievements
Each year ASHRAE gives you the chance to brag a little about your engineering achievements. Illinois ASHRAE's EXCELLENCE IN ENGINEERING AWARDS recognize outstanding engineering projects by members, their engineering firms and owners. Project descriptions are submitted in September. Each description is reviewed and considered by a panel of judges — working HVAC professionals — who select winners in November. Winners are officially recognized at a presentation ceremony that takes place at the chapter's Annual Holiday Party in December.
Deadline for Submissions is October 23, 2026.

Calling Young Engineers in ASHRAE!
And speaking of subgroups within the Illinois ASHRAE, if you are an ASHRAE member 35 years old or younger (except student members) why not get involved with the Young Engineers in ASHRAE (YEA). Members host several opportunities to get together with other young professionals to socialize, network, learn, and tour interesting project sites. For several years our YEA members have planned and conducted the chapter’s excellent Spring Conference, held usually in March. The YEA committee is chaired by Tomi Bundt and Parker Suyko.
